WHY SHOULD YOUR SCHOOL REGISTER FOR THE NIGER DELTA SCHOLARS OLYMPIAD 2026?
BEFORE YOU REGISTER FOR ANY COMPETITION, ASK THESE 6 QUESTIONS!
In a world where many competitions make attractive promises, smart schools do not register blindly. They verify!
A reliable academic competition should demonstrate transparency, credibility, proper organization, and accountability.
Here are 6 signs of a competition you can confidently consider:
✅ 1. WHO ARE THE ORGANIZERS?
A credible competition should clearly identify its organizers and provide verifiable contact information for schools, parents, teachers, and students.
✅ 2. ARE THE RULES CLEAR?
A trustworthy competition should clearly explain its categories, eligibility requirements, registration process, examination format, scoring system, prizes, and important dates.
✅ 3. ARE THE PRIZES CLEARLY STATED?
Schools should know exactly what students, teachers, and schools stand to receive. Prize information should be clearly communicated rather than hidden behind vague promises.
✅ 4. WHO ARE THE SPONSORS OR PARTNERS?
Reputable sponsors, institutions, and educational partners can provide additional confidence. However, responsible schools should always verify any claimed partnership.
✅ 5. IS THERE EVIDENCE OF ACTIVITY AND RESULTS?
Look for evidence such as participating schools, previous winners, award ceremonies, photographs, testimonials, media reports, and other verifiable records.
✅ 6. DOES THE COMPETITION HAVE A PROFESSIONAL ONLINE PRESENCE? 🌐
A serious competition should have an official platform where schools and parents can access important information and communicate with the organizers.
