The registration process has been designed to be simple, secure, and convenient for both schools and individual participants.

The Niger Delta Scholars Olympiad (NDSO) is the premier academic competition for pupils and students across the Niger Delta region of Nigeria. Organised annually by the Niger Delta Education Foundation (NDEF), the Olympiad is designed to identify exceptional academic talent, encourage excellence in education, and reward outstanding performance through scholarships, cash prizes, medals, certificates, trophies, and national recognition.
NDSO provides a fair, transparent, and technology-driven platform where participants compete in an atmosphere of integrity, innovation, and healthy academic rivalry. The competition goes beyond testing classroom knowledge; it evaluates analytical thinking, logical reasoning, creativity, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to apply knowledge effectively.

The examination syllabus is based on the approved Nigerian curriculum appropriate to each competition category.
